This song was originally meant to be a full band, full on punk rock song. And for a long time, that's exactly what it was.
I always wanted to do a version of this song that captured more of that deep winter vibe. That heartbreakingly cold vibe. That feeling of hopelessness vibe.
Recorded in Hayward, Wisconsin in the summer of 2020.
This song feels like a harsh Minnesota winter.
